These few sentences are the result of the expression “You are worth the Blood of Christ” and of 5 enthusiastic young people that began this mission in 2016. Now they are 20. The history and the dream continue thanks to the Young Missionaries of the Precious Blood in Nuestra Señora de La Luz parish.

Our mission is supported by the Blood of Christ and by the daily Cross that everybody need to take and in the community life by the Bond of Charity.

They consider themselves Missionaries of the Gospel by helping young students during the day, going and visiting the orphanage and nursing homes where they share joys and sorrows with patients. We tell them: «You’re worth the Blood of Christ. And as we identify with the Blood of Christ, our life acquires a greater sense».

Some different compassionate ways which have been helpful in moments of joys and sorrows are the Divine Mercy rosary, the meditation of the Word of God and the chaplet of the Precious Blood.

These two young people are witnesses of how to be missionaries of the Precious Blood. Jean Pierre Vivar says: «The Young Missionaries of the Precious Blood have become my second family. There I learnt to be a better person and a better Christian. I found out that I’m worth the Blood of Christ».

Sheccid Quinteros says: «At the beginning I thought I was not able to be the leader of the Young Missionaries of the Precious Blood but I have to admit that God has been of help in this mission. Meeting my companions and starting new friendships in Christ fill my heart of joy as I’m worth the Blood of Christ as well. Everybody is worth the Blood of Christ».
