Lectio Scripture, Sep 5th – Lectio Divina, 5 Sep.
Ex. 24:6-8
Moses took half of the blood and put it in large bowls; the other half he splashed on the altar.
Taking the book of the covenant, he read it aloud to the people, who answered, “All that the LORD has said, we will hear and do.”
Then he took the blood and splashed it on the people, saying, “This is the blood of the covenant which the LORD has made with you according to all these words.”
Moisés tomó la mitad de la sangre y la echó en vasijas; con la otra mitad roció el altar. Después tomó el libro de la Alianza y lo leyó en presencia del pueblo. Respondieron: «Obedeceremos a Yavé y haremos todo lo que él pide.» Entonces Moisés tomó la sangre con la que roció el pueblo, diciendo: «Esta es la sangre de la Alianza que Yavé ha hecho con ustedes, conforme a todos estos compromisos.»

Summary for September 4th – Resumen del día 4 de Septiembre
Reports from the Missions of Peru, Central America, the Chilean and Brazilian Vicariates, and the Teutonic and Italian Provinces were presented. Participants had the opportunity to comment on how they saw God at work in the lives of these units. Some themes that emerged were how these units were genuinely motivated by the spirituality of the Blood of Christ in the ministry of reconciliation, responding to the “cries of the blood,” and encountering the wounds that they encounter in their lives and in their ministry.
Se presentaron informes de las Misiones de Perú, América Central, los Vicariatos de Chile y Brasil, y las Provincias Teutónica e Italiana. Los participantes tuvieron la oportunidad de comentar cómo ven a Dios trabajando en la vida de estas unidades. Algunos de los temas que surgieron fueron cómo estas unidades estaban genuinamente motivadas por la espiritualidad de la Sangre de Cristo en el ministerio de la reconciliación, respondiendo al ‘grito de la sangre’ y encontrando las heridas en sus vidas y en su ministerio.
