Ex. 12:21-23
Moses summoned all the elders of Israel and said to them, “Go and procure lambs for your families, and slaughter the Passover victims.
Then take a bunch of hyssop,* and dipping it in the blood that is in the basin, apply some of this blood to the lintel and the two doorposts. And none of you shall go outdoors until morning.
For when the LORD goes by to strike down the Egyptians, seeing the blood on the lintel and the two doorposts, the LORD will pass over that door and not let the destroyer come into your houses to strike you down.
Moisés, pues, llamó a los jefes de Israel y les dijo: «No demoren en buscar una res para cada una de sus familias e inmolen la Pascua. Tomen un manojo de hisopo mojado con la sangre y marquen los dos postes y la parte superior de la puerta. Y luego ninguno de ustedes saldrá de su casa hasta la mañana. Summary for September 3rd – Resumen del día 3 de Septiembre
Today participants heard reports from the Moderator General, the Cincinnati, Kansas City, Atlantic, and Tanzanian provinces. At the end of the afternoon members were asked to share how they saw God at work in those provinces and those things they were thankful for. Nearly 60 responses were made in the space of a half hour. These and responses to the other reports will be used later this week at the Assembly to discern a vision for the future.
Hoy los participantes escucharon los informes del Moderador General, las provincias de Cincinnati, Kansas City, Atlantico y Tanzania. Al final de la tarde, se les pidió a los miembros que compartieran cómo veían a Dios trabajando en esas provincias y las cosas por las que estaban agradecidos.
