Four young lay missionaries were accompanied by Fr. Virgilio CPPS to the Mission of the Missionaries of the Precious Blood in Guinea-Bissau from August 16 to 26. The goals of the mission were: setting up IT equipment at AA de Vasconcelos School, and train the teachers and other staff members, and installing the IT system at the Outpatient Care Center (OCC).

Currently, the OCC provides care for a high number of people, and in 2024 they started to provide care for pregnant women and mothers and children health care. This service is provided by 4 doctors, 2 nurses and 2 clinical analysts; they enjoy the support from the Ministry of Health of Guinea-Bissau.

As to the training  provided for the implementation of the IT system, a training course was organized on the different computing tools that could be used; how to collect information from the Internet; and the safe use of technologies.
