Another happy day for the CPPS Tanzanian Province. On Friday evening July 9, 2021, after the conclusion of the Business Assembly and Conference, about 56 Missionaries gathered for the celebration of the Eucharist at the Body and Blood Kola B. Parish church. During the celebration two candidates, Abel William Missanga and John Simon Kisoli, were definitively incorporated to the Missionaries of the Precious Blood making 89 the total number of missionaries in our Province.

The celebration was presided by the Provincial Director Fr. Vedasto Ngowi and concelebrated by the CPPS missionaries present. During the homily, the Provincial Director exhorted the new CPPS members to generously respond to their call to serve the Lord just as the prophet Jeremiah did despite their personal contingencies. Fidelity to our call is required of every missionary putting our lives at the service of God and his people unconditionally, just as our founder St. Gaspar did. After the Eucharistic celebration, parents, relatives, and friends were invited to share a joyful fraternal meal prepared by the St. Gaspar’s college staff. The two candidates were ordained Deacons on Saturday 10 July 2021 in the same Parish church.
