The second day started, as every day, with Mass, after which we went as real pilgrims to Saint Peter’s Basilica to go through the Holy Door. Singing and praying, the Pilgrims marched along Via della Conciliazione until we arrived in the threshold of this great Basilica which means so much for the People of God.

In the afternoon, Fr. Berinti, the Assembly’s Facilitator, presented the topic of, precisely, what a threshold means to us, and asked the participants: “At what threshold are we at?”.

After a time for reflexion and pray the session resumed with the Moderator General’s report. He begun by saying: “Shared leadership is shared leadership” thus recognizing that we work better and are more efficient when we do it together. Then he presented the main activities and projects implemented by the General Curia at a congregational level. Details were given about daily tasks and a summary of the Moderator and his Council’s job was also presented.
