This issue of the Cup of the New Covenant is dedicated to reflect on Pope Francis’ third encyclical Fratelli Tutti. Here the authors share real stories from their experience: in a parish in San Francisco, California (Father Matt Link, CPPS); in an Italian prison (Sister Emma Zordan, ASC); in an African American community (Father Denny Kinderman, CPPS); and in a center for reconciliation in Bogotá, Colombia (Father Joseph Deardorff, CPPS). We see how these brothers and sisters of ours, strengthened by the Blood of Christ, become messengers of hope in situations that are quite different, not only geographically.
Father Alois Schlachter, CPPS, and Father Steve Dos Santos, CPPS, will introduce the theme of this issue of our magazine with an approach that is perhaps less local geographically speaking but which is certainly equally thoughtful and born from their experience of living our spirituality. At heart, fraternity “begins at home” from daily living in the bond of charity.
