The San Francisco de Borja School recently celebrated its 48th anniversary. Throughout those years countless students have be educated in the charism, values, and spirituality of the Precious Blood. The curriculum and student life at San Francisco de Borja is dedicated to “Forming in and for the Mission.” The anniversary began with the celebration of the Eucharist, presided over by the Director of the Peruvian Mission Fr. Maximo Mesias, C.PP.S. and the president of the school, Fr. Alex Chasnamote C.PP.S., Fr. Nino Calderon C.PP.S. chaplain of the school and Fr. Edgardo Chero C.PP.S., the Pastor of the parish concelebrated. The celebration continued with a luncheon with the school personnel and evening festivities for the neighborhood.
During its almost five decades of service, San Francisco de Borja School has been committed to educational quality. The school has been recognized by numerous accreditation groups for their educational success. In 2012, the school received accreditation by the Inter-American Confederation of Catholic Education (CIEC). More recently the school has earned accreditation by the National System of Evaluation, Accreditation and Certification of educational quality SINEACE – Peru. With both processes of accreditation, San Francisco de Borja was able to demonstrate the ability to manage, direct and support continuous improvement in the teaching-learning process; implementing, institutional self-evaluation through teamwork, dialogue, research, innovation, decision making and openness to change. These accreditations continue to motivate the ministry to continue providing quality service and contributing to the church and education in Peru.
