From November 7 to 10, 2016, at the Ven. Giovanni Merlini Vocation Centre, Miyuji – Dodoma, the Missionaries of the Precious Blood, Province of Tanzania, gathered for a Provincial Conference.
The major part of the conference was dedicated to sharing from communities, institutions, committees, and different offices of the Province. There was also time for the sharing of experiences on community life and the apostolate, as well as looking at successes and challenges in the living of our spirituality of the Precious Blood.

There were several business items as well on the agenda. The Missionaries discussed some important issues regarding the housing of students from the Giovanni Merlini High School at the Merlini Vocation Centre and how the Province cares for its sick members. Finally, the Provincial Treasurer presented his report during the second session where he gave a full picture of the financial situation of the Province.
During the final day, the Province heard from Mr. Alvin Uronu, a lecturer at Ushirika University in Kilimanjaro. He shared his experience on entrepreneurship and tried to raise awareness so that Missionaries can discover different opportunities for social and economic development. Finally, the Provincial Director concluded the conference by communicating some announcements including new appointments and transfers of missionaries.
