Prayer to St. Gaspar during the time of Covid-19

Saint Gaspar, during this time of distress we ask you to intercede for us before our heavenly Father.

During your exile, you experienced the pain of imprisonment and separation from your family. We ask your intecesion for all those who are now in quarantine and restraint to move freely.

 
You said we are all patients in the hospital of the world. Now we are living this reality in a dramatic way. We ask your intercession for all the sick and for all those who are caring for them beyond the limits of their strength.

You reminded us that the thought of death was a great counsellor. Death is close to us these days. We ask your intercession for all those who have died and also for those who mourn them.

Through you, Saint Gaspar, we seek refuge in the wounds of our Lord Jesus Christ and we trust in the power of His redeeming blood.

Saint Gaspar, pray for us.

Oracion a San Gaspar durante el tiempo del Covid-19

San Gaspar, durante este tiempo de angustia te pedimos que intercedas por nosotros ante nuestro Padre celestial.

Durante tu exilio, experimentaste el dolor del encarcelamiento y la separación de tu familia. Pedimos tu intecesión por todos los que se encuentran en cuarentena y restringidos de moverse  libremente.

Nos dijiste que todos somos pacientes en el hospital del mundo. Ahora estamos viviendo esta realidad de manera dramática. Pedimos tu intercesión por todos los enfermos y por todos aquellos que los cuidan más allá de los límites de sus fuerzas.

Nos recordaste que la idea de la muerte era una gran consejera. La muerte está cerca de nosotros en estos días. Pedimos tu intercesión por todos los que han muerto y por aquellos que los lloran.

A través de ti, San Gaspar, buscamos refugio en las heridas de nuestro Señor Jesucristo y confiamos en el poder de Su sangre redentora.

San Gaspar, ruega por nosotros.

Preghiera a San Gaspare nel tempo del Covid-19

San Gaspare, durante questo periodo di angoscia ti chiediamo di intercedere per noi presso il nostro Padre celeste.

Durante il tuo esilio, hai sperimentato il dolore della prigionia e della separazione dalla tua famiglia. Chiediamo la tua intercessione per tutti coloro che sono ora in quarantena e non possono muoversi liberamente.

Hai detto che siamo tutti pazienti nell’ospedale del mondo. Ora stiamo vivendo questa realtà in modo drammatico. Chiediamo la tua intercessione per tutti i malati e per tutti coloro che si prendono cura di loro oltre i limiti delle loro forze.

Ci hai ricordato che il pensiero della morte è un grande consigliere. La morte ci è vicina in questi giorni. Chiediamo la tua intercessione per tutti coloro che sono morti e anche per coloro che li piangono.

Attraverso la tua intercessione, San Gaspare, cerchiamo rifugio nelle ferite di nostro Signore Gesù Cristo e confidiamo nel potere del suo Sangue Redentore.

San Gaspare, prega per noi.

Gebet zum hl. Kaspar während der Zeit von Covid-19

Heiliger Kaspar,

in der Not unserer Tage bitten wir Dich, beim himmlischen Vater für uns einzutreten.

Als Du im Exil warst, hast Du den Schmerz des Eingesperrt-Seins und der fehlenden Kontakte mit Deiner Familie erfahren: wir bitten Dich um Deine Fürsprache für alle, die heute in Quarantäne leben und in ihrer Bewegungsfreiheit eingeschränkt sind.

Du hast gesagt: „wir sind alle Kranke im großen Krankenhaus der Welt“. In diesen Tagen erfahren wir das auf dramatische Weise. Wir bitten Dich um Deine Fürsprache für alle Kranken und für all jene, die bis an die Grenzen ihrer Kräfte und darüber hinaus für die Kranken da sind.

Du hast gemahnt: „der Gedanke an den Tod ist ein guter Ratgeber“. Der Tod ist uns allen nahe in diesen Tagen. Wir bitten Dich um Deine Fürsprache für alle Verstorbenen und auch für jene, die um sie trauern.

Und mit Dir, heiliger Kaspar, möchten wir unsere Zuflucht suchen in den Wunden unseres Herrn Jesus Christus und im Vertrauen auf die Kraft seines erlösenden Blutes.
