At the beginning of the trip that leads me to the United States of America for the Canonical Visitation to the US Province, news reached me about Pope Francis death.

Yesterday morning I went to Saint Peter Square for the Easter Mass and, together with thousands of people I could listen to him and see him alive. None of us would have ever imagined that this would be the last time.

And this morning, at Heathrow Airport in London, the dismay was generalized. Many people would stop to look at the impossible to believe news that were broadcast by all the English TV channels.

I invite all the Missionaries of the Precious Blood throughout the world, together with the “Family of the Blood of Christ” to join the Church in prayer for the eternal rest of our beloved Pope Francis.
