Deacon Claudio Varas Arriagada, CPPS

November 4th, 2011 marked a happy occasion for the Chilean Vicariate of the Missionaries of the Precious Blood.  At Our Lady of the Precious Blood Church in Santiago we celebrated the transitory Deacon Ordination of Claudio Varas Arriagada, CPPS.  The ordaining prelate was Bishop Cristián Contreras Villarroel, auxiliary bishop of Santiago, Chile.  Claudio was born at Purranque, where he met the CPPS community at Saint Sebastian’s Church, where the missionaries have served for 62 years.  He has already finished his advanced formation within the CPPS.

Our Vicariate it is been blessed this year with two Ordinations ceremonies. First it was the Priesthood Ordination of Jorge Gómez, CPPS on April 30th  and then Claudio’s on November 4th.

Please keep praying for vocations.
