The Missionaries of the Precious Blood of the Polish Province, give thanks to God, for the gift of the ordination of Father Jan Piotr Stankowski CPPS to the degree of Presbyter.

The ordination ceremony took place on 18 May 2024, at the parish of St. John the Baptist in Ruda Śląska Godula, Poland, where Fr Jan comes from. Fr Jan was ordained a priest by Archbishop Adrian Galbas SAC, Metropolitan of Katowice.

In his homily, the Archbishop said to Fr Jan:

“Lead a life in accordance with the mystery of the Lord’s cross”. This is a great request of the Church. This is what being a priest is all about. “According to the mystery of the Lord’s cross”, that is, in humility, in hiding, in lowliness, in diligence, in readiness to sacrifice and to offerings.
