New Ministers in the Italian Province

Following the Lord is done with perseverance, in our daily life, of short and continuous steps, sometimes of missteps – and patience to return to fix one’s gaze on Jesus and follow him. Every day the Lord leaves the luminous seeds of His presence in the path of our life and asks us to discover and keep them, so that they may grow and bear fruit. But there are days when the harvest is abundant, when the cleared field reveals a great treasure and a new light discovers the hidden plot of things.

Saturday, March 22, for twelve seminarians of the Italian Province of the Missionaries of the Precious Blood, was one of these days: Nicola Antonio and Oscar were admitted among the candidates for the Sacred Orders of the Diaconate and the Presbyterate; Alessio, Eric and Pasquale received the Ministry of Lector; Daniel, Federico, Francesco, Luca, Luca, Marco and Mattia received the ministry of Acolyte instead. Around them, parents, brothers, friends and many associates of the Congregation shared this great joy!

The celebration, in fact, was also a time of gathering for the families of all the seminarians, who, over the weekend, had the opportunity to share among themselves and with those responsible of formation – and also to appreciate the beauty of Santa Maria in Trivio and the Church of the Gesù, in a Rome dressed in sun and serenity. It was truly a day of grace and thanksgiving!
