Edwin Alberto, was born in San Antonio Tolima, Colombia, on October 19, 1995. He is the son of Flor Alba Mayor and Luis Carlos Aguiar, and is the youngest of 3 siblings. He joined the Missionaries of the Precious Blood on January 18, 2014 at the Central House (which is today the Reconciliation Center) in Bogotá, Colombia. His philosophy studies were completed at “Universidad Uniagustiniana” and he graduated in theology at “Pontificia Universidad Javeriana”, on September 9, 2023. In January 2027 he spent his Special Formation Year in Brazil. The Temporary Incorporation took place on July 14, 2018 and the Definitive Incorporation to Congregation of the Missionaries of the Precious Blood was on December 12, 2021. His pastoral activities include rural missions, vocational promotion, coordination of and pastoral advisor to several parishes of the Congregation, and he has been Spiritual Advisor at Saint Ignatius Hospital in Bogotá.
