Missionaries in Latin America Reflect on the Three Pillars of the Congregation

The time together included recreation and time to get better acquainted.

Missionaries of the Precious Blood serving throughout Latin America gathered on November 27-December 1 for a retreat led by Rev. Barry Fischer, C.PP.S., a former Moderator General of the Congregation.  The retreat was held at Casa Merlini near Lima, Peru.

Missionaries from Mexico, Guatemala, Colombia, Peru, Brazil, and Chile gathered to reflect on the pillars of the Congregation:  Mission, Spirituality, and Community.  The retreat offered an opportunity for priests and brothers from various units to come together for prayer, reflection, and recreation.  The retreat also allowed Missionaries to become better acquainted with each other.  This was especially important in light of the ongoing Re-Imagining Process as the Congregation looks to the future in Latin America.
