MERLAP IV Concludes

MERLAP IV is now part of the history of the Congregation! It was a busy and productive week that was full of joyful interaction and warm friendship.

MERLAP on the steps of the chapel at San Felice

We began with the delegations giving reports on the Lay Associate reality in their units. We were pilgrims for a day and went to the holy site of our foundation, the Abbey of San Felice in  Giano. There we heard witness talks that spoke of charism and vocation. Back in Rome we developed a Profile of a Precious Blood Lay Associate, which will be a companion document to the Profile of a Missionary. We also began the work of creating an outline of the essential elements of a CPPS Lay Associate Program. A writing committee has been charged with the task of finishing that document.

The next issue of the Cup of the New Covenant we will share in detail the work that we did and the documents that we produced.
