This is a brief summary of the meeting that Rev. Fr. Lucas C.PP.S, the General Councilor for Formation, with the Intensive Formation Students (India). There are ten students of Intensive Formation, with Fr. Martin Raja C.PP.S as their Director. The meeting started on 6th October 2011. The main focus of this meeting was to reflect and evaluate the Formation Program of C.PP.S in India. Initially, there was a group discussion among the students on this topic and the groups came up with their own views and evaluations of the formation program; in the past, as well as, the present.
Fr. Lucas explained to the students about the C.PP.S Formation programs. The main focus was on the four dimensions of our formation: Human, Christian, Communitarian and Apostolic formation in the different stages of formation, namely- Initial, Special, Advanced and On-Going. Fr. Lucas explained these dimensions using the Scripture (The Bible), The Normative Texts and our C.PP.S. General Statutes. Father also discussed the Role of Formators and the responsibilities of the Students in the community life.
The meeting was concluded on 14th October with a group discussion among the students to express their expectations of themselves, from the Formators and from the Community. The meeting was culminated with a Group Photo.
