by Michael Sommer
Dear readers. Please allow me to introduce myself briefly. I am a Missionary of the Precious Blood and my name is Michael Sommer. For more than three years now I have been serving as chaplain in the parish community of Dinkelscherben in the diocese of Augsburg/Germany. We can only too well understand the human disappointment and rejection of the two disciples, because our life of faith is sometimes more or less put to the test. We also experience disappointments again and again in our living environment or professional life, or we feel in our encounters with people who think differently that our hearts grow cold and closed. Whatever my problem is, we are invited again and again to look to Jesus. To turn ourselves to him and to expect everything from him. I discover in my duties in my ministry to cry out to the precious blood in faith. For me it is the way I surrender my cold heart to receive from Christ a burning and renewed heart. Our whole life of faith is after all a process of practicing an attitude of love and trust in the Lord and the power of the Blood of Christ in our life.
From my heart I wish you all God’s blessing.
