On Saturday, May 12 at the Sancturary of Saint Gaspar del Bufalo in in Albano, the Italian Province celebrated the definitive incorporation of two candidates.  

Enzo Napoli and Valerio Volpi, after the celebration of the liturgy of the hours and in the presence of a large group of Missionaries of the Precious Blood and the Provincial Director V.Rev. Terenzio Pastore, C.PP.S., pronounced their promise of fidelity to the Congregation and received the Mission Crucifix, the sign of our Congregation.     

The celebration was preceded by a three day triduum in the parish of St. Gaspar in Rome.  Rev. Flavio Calicchia, C.PP.S. preached each day and the preparatory triduum concluded with the celebration of the eucharist on the evening of May 11.  During this mass Napoli and Volpi made their profession of faith.  

“Eternity on the mind, God in the heart and the world underfoot” are the words of Saint Gaspar chosen by the two newly-incorporated as a theme for this important day.  May these words inspire them for a deep love for the Blood of Jesus and the mission entrusted to to Congregation by the Church.  May Mary, Our Lady of the Precious Blood motivate them to remain faithful and passionate Missionaries of the Precious Blood.
