Italian Province Celebrates Ordination

Bishop Angelo De Donatis ordains Deacon Giacomo Manzo, C.PP.S.

The city of Rome celebrated the Feast of Saint Peter and Saint Paul on Thursday, June 29.  In addition to celebrating the memory of these two pillars of the faith, the Missionaries of the Precious Blood also celebrated the presbyteral ordination of Giacomo Manzo, C.PP.S.

The ordination was held at the parish of Saint Polycarp and was attended by numerous Missionaries, seminarians, friends, and family of Fr. Manzo.  Bishop Angelo de Donatis, the newly appointed Vicar of Rome, presided at the liturgy.

Fr. Giacomo, a member of the Italian Province, presided for the first time at the Eucharist on Friday, June 30.  May Saint Peter, Saint Paul, and Saint Gaspar del Bufalo continue to inspire the ministry and life of Fr. Giacomo.
