Members of the Indian Vicariate gathered for their Annual retreat from 28^th July – 2^nd Aug 2014, in St. Gaspar Ashram, Bangalore.  The close of the retreat marked the inauguration of the Bicentennial celebrations and the 25 years of CPPS presence in India. This sets the stage for a series of events to follow during the course of the year. The ceremony was officiated by the Vicariate Director and representatives from the nine districts of the vicariate lit candles which were arranged before the relic of our founder St.Gaspar.  Each candle symbolized one district of the vicariate and every member was given a candle as well.   With candles lit, the Prayer to St. Gaspar for the Church was recited and the entire congregation was entrusted to the protection of our Founder and Our Holy Mother.
