In addition to other issues in the Assembly, we worked on the dream of the Iberian provinces.  This Dream comes from the communal discernment that occurred last October boosted by Fr. Bill Nordenbrock. The elected Provincial Council will continue to encourage all members in the realization of this dream.

THE DREAM OF THE IBERIAN PROVINCE

We are aware that we have received a very concrete charism as a “manifestation of the Spirit for common good” (1 Cor. 12,7).

The Missionaries of the Precious Blood of the Iberian Province are part of the CPPS family which is made up by priests, brothers, religious women and lay people. We contemplate the mystery of the Cross and the Eucharist in which the Blood becomes the source of our spirituality.

Our communities originate in this spirituality, and our members stay together in the bond of charity, which leads us to be attentive one another and this helps us to respond to the vocation we are called to live. This way of living is helped by mission, and the Provincial and his Council animates and encourages this, counting on the availability of the members.

We live in open welcoming Mission Houses that are formed by more than two members, loving each other and respecting each other.

We value life of prayer, the creation of a personal and community project, dialogue and community gatherings and also free time spent in common. All this strengthens and stimulates our apostolic life.

Our spirituality and community life, being faithful to the CPPS charism, make us available for the ministry of the Word and the Reconciliation, namely in: parish pastoral, the family, work, retreats, spiritual exercises, accompanying people, preaching, and Christian education. We are especially attentive to the excluded, the poor, and the sick, and we are sensitive to the suffering and the hopes that beat in the heart of the world, being present in places and situations no one wants to go to.

All the members are committed to the animation of vocations, as we know that our way of living is contagious and seduces other people.
