God, the Lord of life and death, has called our brother and confrere Fr. Matthias Achleitner CPPS from the Teutonic Province on the first Sunday of Advent, November 28, 2021. He was 78 years old.
Matthias Achleitner was born on October 4, 1944 in Bad Ischl, Austria.
After graduating from high school and working as storekeeper in Horn, he joined the Missionaries of the Precious Blood in 1969.
In 1975 he made his definitive incorporation and was ordained priest in Salzburg on June 29, 1976.
From 1978 to 1983 he worked as a missionary in Xingu (Brazil), then as a
chaplain in various places of our province: Kufstein, Baumgärtle,
Neuenheerse and in the College of St. Joseph in Salzburg-Aigen. At the same time he took care of the house and the house and grounds.
In his last will he wrote in large letters: PRECIOUS BLOOD – MAKE ALL THINGS WELL!
