On Saturday January 13 this year, Eleven CPPS members were ordained Priests and one ordained deacon. The historical event took place in Dodoma at Our Lady of the Precious Blood – Kisasa Parish. The ordaining Prelate was Archbishop Beatus Kinyaiya OFM Cap, the ordinary of the Archdiocese of Dodoma. Those ordained are hereby listed as Deac. Abelhad Ismail Dimosso Native of Tegetero Morogoro; Deac. Aidan Alphonce Mtui Native of Mbahe Aris Moshi; Deac. Abibon Lawrent Rukiza Native of Kemondo Bukoba; Deac. Appolonius Ludovick Byarugaba Native of Nshamba Kagera; Deac. Bonaventure Aquiline Maro Native of Kishimundu Moshi; Deac. Ernest August Shirima Native of Tarakea Rombo Kilimanjaro; Deac. Gregory Ndeshillo Native of Mrao Rombo Kilimanjaro; Deac. James Titus Makinda Native of K/Ndege Dodoma; Deac. Joseph Richard Msumeno Native of Kambikatoto Chunya Mbeya; Deac. Livinus Ndamwesiga Benedicto Native of Maruku Bukoba; Deac. Revocatus Charles Gimbuya Native of Chamugasa Simiyu.
A seminarian ordained deacon is Wilbrant Clodi Urio definitively incorporated to the society on Friday January 12, the day before the ordination. This event is defined historical for the number of those ordained. The last such big number goes back to 2003 when the then Tanzanian Vicatiate saw the ordination of eleven members as this year. In the same liturgical event three members of the Stigmatine Fathers were ordainded deacons.
After their ordination each priest went to his own home parish for his thanksgiving mass. Because of the distances from one place to the other three groups were formed according to the regions of the country to enable participation of other members of the Province in those celebrations.

Abelhad Ismail Dimosso – Mkiwa Parish; Aidan Alphonce Mtui – John Merlini Formation House; Abibon Lawrent Rukiza – Teutonic Province; Appolonius Ludovick Byarugaba – Old Maswa Parish; Bonaventure Aquiline Maro – Rome for Specialization in communication; Ernest August Shirima – Shanwe Parish Mpanda; Gregory Ndeshillo – Mkula Parish Ifakara; James Titus Makinda – Specialization in communication; Joseph Richard Msumeno Kinda Parish and Formation House; Livinus Ndamwesiga Benedicto – Manyoni Parish; Revocatus Charles – Teutonic Province. The new deacon is assigned to Manyoni Parish where the Diocese of Singida is preparing four out-stations to be erected Parishes.
