Missionaries from the newly established Province of Tanzania gathered at the Venerable Giovanni Merlini Vocation Centre in Miyuji-Dodomo from September 14-18 to elect a leadership team for the Province.  Prior to holding the elections, the members of the Province participated in several days of discussion and discernment of priorities for the new administration.  Using the Normative Texts and the message from the XXth General Assembly, the Missionaries examined the C.PP.S. model of leadership.  This process served as the basis for their discernment of members who have been called to serve in leadership.  The discernment process and elections were presided over by V. Rev. William Nordenbrock, C.PP.S., Moderator General.    The following members were elected to serve a four year term:

Fr. Chesco Msaga, C.PP.S. — Provincial Director

Fr. Francesco Bartoloni, C.PP.S. — Vice-Provincial Director

Fr. Egidius Seneda, C.PP.S. — Second Councilor and Secretary

Fr. Vedasto Ngowi, C.PP.S. — Third Councilor

Fr. Richard Tiganya, C.PP.S. — Fourth Councilor and Treasurer
