The Mass for Incorporation was presided by Fr. Reginald Mrosso, C.PP.S, the C.PP.S Vicariate Director of Tanzania who, recalling the teachings of Pope Francis, reminded the new missionaries and all 23 C.PP.S Missionaries present, of the role of consecrated people of bringing joy to the people: “I want to say one word to you and the word is joy. Whenever consecrated people are, there is always joy” (Pope Francis).

During the diaconal ordination, Rt. Rev. Titus Joseph Mdoe, the Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Dar-es-salaam brought to mind the major responsibility of a deacon of the first christian communities as “service.”  Rev. Mdoe highlighted that today deacons assist bishops and priests not only in charitable activities but also and foremost in the ministry of the Word and liturgical celebrations especially the Eucharist, Baptism, attending the sick, and marriages. He urged the new deacons and all consecrated men and women to be faithful to the service looking at Jesus as a model.
