Croatian Mission Welcomes Two Candidates into Temporary Incorporation

The candidates make their temporary incorporation with the Missionaries of the Precious Blood.

On July 1, 2018, the Solemnity of the Precious Blood, two young men were temporirily incorporated into the Missionaries of the Precious Blood.  Ivan Raljušić and Mario Šarić made their commitment during a celebration of the Eucharist presided at by Rev. Ilija Grgic, C.PP.S., the director of the Croatian Mission.   The liturgy took place at the Mission House in Prozorje, in the chapel of the Reconciliation Center which is under construction.

Joining in the celebration were all of the Missionaries of the Precious Blood in the Croatian Mission: Revs. Marijan Zubak, C.PP.S., Stjepan Ivan Horvat, C.PP.S., and Davor Lukacevic, C.PP.S.  V.Rev. Wojciech Czernatowicz, C.PP.S, the Provincial Director of the Polish Province, accepted the promises and vested the newly incorporated candidates with the cassock and sash.  

Along with many faithful and members of the Union of the Blood of Christ, friends, relatives and family of candidates attended this joyful event.  Rev. Grgic thanked to the parents of the candidates and presented  them with rosaries asking them to continue to pray for their sons and for new candidates for the Congregation in Croatia.  Assisting at the liturgy was also several Adorers of the Blood of Christ, including Sr. Matija Pavic, ASC, the vice general of the Adorers.  She is also the aunt of candidate Mario Šarić, C.PP.S. 

Ivan Raljušić is from Pleternica, Croatia and began formation on February 10, 2015 on the feast of Blessed Aloysius Stepinac.  Mario Šarić is from Basel, Switzerland and entered formation on December 26, 2014, the feast of St. Stephen.  May God continue to bless the Croatian Mission!
