Companions (lay associates) of the Missionaries of the Precious Blood gathered for their annual retreat in October, at the Marillac Center in Leavenworth, Kan., and later in the month at St. Charles Center in Carthagena, Ohio.
Fr. Andy O’Reilly, C.PP.S., led both retreats. The theme of The Power of the Blood: The Many Ways that the Blood of Christ Transforms Our Lives. Fr. O’Reilly delivered a message about God’s all-encompassing love, which each person is to pass along to others in a unique way.
Each retreat ended with a liturgy in which Companions made or renewed their covenant with the Congregation.
