Collaboration Between the Tanzanian and Teutonic Provinces

Fr. George, Fr Stephano, and Fr. Godfrey with Sonja and Hedwig at the College of St. Joseph in Salzburg

Three confreres from Tanzania: Fr. George Emanuel Mwaluko, Fr. Stephano Furaha Karabyo, and Fr. Godfrey George Laneck finally arrived in the Teutonic Province! Their arrival was planned for January 2021 but they finally landed in Salzburg, Austria on November 9th. Beside the Covid  pandemic, their trip was delayed mainly waiting for their visas to travel to Europe. The three Tanzanian missionaries  already started to learn German in Tanzania. The confreres of the Teutonic Province, in preparation for their arrival, invited to their last Provincial Assembly a Tanzanian Spiritanian working in Salzburg to hear his experiences.

After a few years of orientation into the German culture and ministry accompanied by Fr. Willi Klein, the three confreres from Africa will be ready to take responsibilities in one of the Teutonic CPPS houses or to start a new apostolate.

We hope for a fruitful collaboration between the Teutonic and Tanzanian Provinces.
