The parish of Saint Philip Neri in Frattamaggiore was filled with joy on September 30, 2017.  On that day, friends and family of Deacon Ernesto Di Fiore, C.PP.S. joined with dozens of Missionaries of the Precious Blood to celebrate the presbyteral ordination of Rev. Di Fiore.  Bishop Angelo Spinillo, bishop of Aversa, presided at the ordination liturgy.  

The ordinand chose a verse from the Gospel of John to be included in the invitation sent out.  The verse, John 15:5, reads, “I am the vine, you are the branches.  Whoever remains in me, with me in him, bears fruit in plenty; for cut off from me you can do nothing.”

Following his ordination, on Sunday, October 1, 2017, Rev. Di Fiore presided at the celebration of the Eucharist in his home parish.  May God continue to bless the ministry of Rev. Di Fiore.
