On the Feast of Saint Gasper del Bufalo, new Croatian members are definitively incorporated as Missionares of the Precious Blood: Br. Marijan Zubak, CPPS, Br. Stjepan Horvat, CPPS and Br. Davor Lukačević, CPPS.

The celebration was held in the parish in Dugo Selo, near Zagreb.  The Mission Director, Fr. Ilija Grgić presided and  Fr. Franciszek Grzywa, CPPS, Provincial Director of the Polish Province accepted their promise of lifelong fidelity to the Congregation of the Missionaries of Precious Blood. Participating in the celebration were the parish choir, priests, nuns and brothers from different orders, and the families and relatives of the new members of the community.

Fr. Franciszek preached about being missionary: how to serve others and the struggle which will be encountered. As he held the Missionary Cross, he spoke how a crucifix can be a source of strength, renewal in their vocation, consolation in times of distress and ecouragement for the Missionary as they go forward to serve others and to celebrate God.

After the Holy Mass, all guests attended a lunch, where they countinued the celebration with dance and songs.  The new members were surprised to be asked to speak about themselves; about special life moments; about the things they loved the most; and their hopes for their future apostolate.

God is good and in his benevolance He gave us new members in the Missionares of Precious Blood! We continue to pray for this new Mission in Croatia; that it may grow more and more and develop God’s reign in human hearts.
