The Governor General of Canada has awarded Br. Anthony Canterucci, CPPS, a  member of the Atlantic Province, the Governor General’s Caring Canadian Award.  The honor was awarded  “in recognition of his outstanding and selfless contribution to his community and to Canada.  Brother Anthony Canterucci has devoted his life to the service of others and to building bridges between Canadians and Tanzanians. Since 1976, he has involved Canadian youth in mission work in Tanzania, helping local people build infrastructure such windmills and schools. His energy and humanitarian work have brought relief to many in Africa and served as inspiration to Canadian youth.”
