The Brazilian Vicariate recently concluded their annual Assembly and Retreat.  The assembly and retreat were marked with great joy and tranquility. The retreat was led by Fr. Barry Fischer, C.PP.S.  All of the members of the Vicariate, including the candidates were in attendance.

Immediately following the retreat the electoral Assembly was held at Casa Merlini in Belém.  Both Fr. Andreas Hasenburger, C.PP.S., Provincial Director of the Teutonic Province and Fr. Michael Rhode, C.PP.S., a former Vicariate Director, were able to be present.

The Missionaries elected the following members as their new leadership team:

Vicariate Director: Fr. Antonio Arcelino Batista Magalhães, C.PP.S.

Vicariate Vice-Director and First Councilor: Fr. Fritz Satzger, C.PP.S.

Second Councilor: Fr. Raimundo das Neves Almeida, C.PP.S.

Third Councilor: Fr. Almiro de Sousa, C.PP.S.
