On May 24, 2024, the Holy See communicated that Pope Francis had accepted the miracle attributed to Venerable Don Giovanni Merlini, priest and Moderator General of the CPPS and thus agreed that the Beatification Rite of Don Giovanni Merlini will take place in Rome on January 12, 2025 in the Basilica of Saint John Lateran.

The year 2025 will be the year of three major events: the Beatification of Venerable Merlini; the Jubilee of the Precious Blood; and the celebration of the General Assembly. Therefore, we will have a great opportunity to come together, be it in person or in spirit through prayer, and reinforce the Bond of Charity that makes us one.
