The Kansas City Province met for their annual assembly on June 2-4, 2014 at Church of the Annunciation in Kearney, Missouri. Their presenters were Sr. Joyce Rupp, O.S.M. and Fr. Dave Kelly, C.PP.S. Sr. Rupp led a Day of Reflection on June 3, focusing on Reconciliation, the theme for the second year of our preparations for the Bicentennial Celebration in 2015. Father Kelly, director of the Precious Blood Ministry of Reconciliation in Chicago, was the featured speaker on Wednesday, June 4. He focused on Restorative Justice and the ministry of reconciliation to which all of us are called.

Our Moderator General, Father William Nordenbrock, C.PP.S., was  also with us for the Assembly. Following the Assembly, Father Bill facilitated an Appreciative Discernment process with the Leadership Team and the members of our Vietnam Mission. Many Companions renewed or made first covenants at Mass on Tuesday evening, and members celebrating significant anniversaries were honored at the Wednesday evening Mass. The 2014 Jubilarians were:
