Ordinations in the Polish Province

The ordination ceremony in Ożarów

May 14, 2011 was a day of great joy in the Polish Province because ranks of the Community increased by two new priests: Fr. Philip Pieta, CPPS and Fr. Lukas Tarnowski, CPPS. They were ordained in Ożarów, along with the 5 Pallottine deacons. Cardinal Nycz, of the Diocese of Warsaw conferred the Holy Orders.

Fr. Philip Pieta was born in Jastkowice, a small village in the middle of Poland. He has four brothers, one of whom is also a CPPS priest; Fr. Sebastian, who is pastor of the Shrine in Częstochowa. Fr. Philip entered formation in 2003 and after year of special formation (in Poland we call it novitiate) began studies. On October 17, 2009 he was incorporated as a Missionary of the Precious Blood and he celebrated his deaconate ordination April 11, 2010.

Fr. Lukas Tarnowski was born in Gdansk, near the Baltic Sea. On the completion of his Baccalaureate degree he came to Congregation and began formation in 2003. He celebrated his Incorporation and deaconate with Fr. Philip.

Now they start real life. May the Lord bless them in this way.
