A general meeting of all Indian Vicariate members took place at the National Biblical Liturgical Centre in Bangalore, from 5 to 9 March. The meeting began with two days of retreat intensely conducted by Fr. Angelo Anthony.  We then had a day and a half of sharing information with the members of the Vicariate about the work the Commission since its installation last year and its future goals and tasks. The good and friendly atmosphere of the meeting gave the Commission hope that their work is appreciated and the collaboration of all members of the Vicariate with the commission is improving and becoming more consistent.

March 9th was a day of great joy for our Indian Vicariate as we celebrated the incorporation of two candidates; an expression of God’s continuous blessing of the Indian Vicariate.   On this day our Brothers Balraj Bernard and Peter Rajini were definitively incorporated into our Congregation to live the bond of charity and to serve the Congregation and the Church.  The solemn Holy Mass was presided over by  the Very Rev. Francesco Bartoloni, the Moderator General.  The two members were received into the congregation by Fr. Emanuele Lupi, the delegate of the Head of the Commission.  Also present were Commissioners Fr. Angelo Anthony, Fr.  Mathew Perumpil, M.I., approximately 80 members of the Vicariate, along with other priests and sisters and the people of God.   We wish our latest confreres the best in their missionary life.  May our Mother, Mary Help of Christians protect and guide them throughout their life.
